Factory Direct!The Mattress Factory opened in 1976 as "Jerry's Home Furnishings" in downtown Bend, Oregon. After 10 years as a full service furniture store, owner Jerry Seed discovered he could make a better mattress for less money than the name brands he was selling. The idea for The Mattress Factory was born.
Today, The Mattress Factory has grown to include two factories. The original is located in Bend, Oregon on U.S. Highway 20 East. Our Washington State factory is located in Moxee, Washington, just 4 miles outside of Yakima.

The idea for the Instant Pillowtop came from an elderly woman who approached us looking for some type of mattress cushioning that would help her bed-ridden husband. She had searched the country for something that would provide extra cushioning, but would also fit securely to the bed. Our factory craftsmen developed a prototype for her to try and, to her great relief, this was exactly what she was looking for!
Now, literally thousands of Instant Pillowtops have been sold to satisfied customers throughout the United States.

Shipping Information:
All orders are processed and shipped within 72 hours, usually within 24 hours if the order is placed Monday through Thursday.
Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:
If you are not satisfied with the Instant Pillowtop within 7 days of receiving the product, you may return it to us for a full refund of your purchase price, less shipping charges. You are responsible for all shipping charges. If you wish to return the Instant Pillowtop, you must contact us FIRST by either phone or email to receive a return authorization.
When an Instant Pillowtop is returned, it will be inspected for soilage or abuse. If it is determined that soilage or abuse of the product has taken place, no refund will be issued. Our decision is final.
Each Instant Pillowtop is covered by a 1 Year Limited Warranty. This warranty covers any and all defects in manufacture or materials. If you believe that a warranty claim exists, please contact us FIRST by either phone or email to receive authorization to return the product.
When an Instant Pillowtop is returned, it will be inspected for soilage or abuse. If it is determined that soilage or abuse of the product has taken place, no refund will be issued. Our decision is final.
If we find that a warranty claim is valid, we will, at our option, repair or replace the Instant Pillowtop.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Can the Instant Pillowtop be used on the "blank" side of a no-flip or one-sided mattress? Yes! Turn your mattress over to the blank side and install the Instant Pillowtop. It should be noted, however, that the Instant Pillowtop will not duplicate the exact feel of the original mattress.
Are custom sizes available? Yes! Contact us by phone or email with your custom needs. Short queen size mattresses for RVs (60 x 75) can be ordered directly from this web site.
Will the Instant Pillowtop fix body impressions? No. Body impressions indicate that the underlying materials within your mattress are failing and your mattress needs to be replaced.
Is the Instant Pillowtop washable or can in be dry cleaned? No. You should treat the Instant Pillowtop as an extension of your mattress, placing a mattress pad or barrier pad over the top of the Instant Pillowtop.
